Crypto.com to Sponsor This Year’s Formula1 in Miami

Grab some sunblock and earplugs. Miami is hot, and it’s about to get loud.

Crypto continues to tear through Miami, and this time it takes its place in Formula1 racing, sponsored by Crypto.com.

There’s no slowing down for crypto’s capital city, Miami. This spring, she has hosted events that merge the DeFi world with art, real estate, and music. But she is just beginning to rev up her engines.

Miami is quickly recovering from Bitcoin 2022. Fresh from her beauty sleep, now she’s gearing up to host Formula1 races.

There’s no better city than Miami to host. This international coastal metropolis has everything visitors could want: warm weather, white-sand beaches, and plenty of nightlife.

Grand Prix – The Nitty Gritty

The Miami Grand Prix will take place May 6-8, 2022. The Grand Prix will run on May 8. Three practices and a qualifying race will take place on May 6th and 7th.

The Miami International Autodrome is hosting the race.

“The Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is the first circuit to be designed by and with the support of Formula 1. It will be a dynamic and free-flowing track which will feature 2022 Formula 1 cars being put to the test on the first half of the World Championship calendar.” – F1 Miami gp.com

Miami is famous for its diverse music scene. The Miami International Autodrome campus and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino will host locally and internationally celebrated musicians throughout the race weekend. Whenever the roars of racecars fall silent, music and art will fill the venue.

FTX Grand Prix Festival

A Formula 1 race wouldn’t be complete without the community, and FTX is bringing it.

Visitors will get a unique Formula 1 experience when FTX brings its immersive F1 festival to iconic South Beach for the first time. The festival has something for everyone. F1 fans, along with art and music fans alike, will experience the beauty and culture of Miami Beach blended with the electrifying world of motorsport.

The weekend-long festival takes over Lummus Park between 6th and 8th Street from Friday, May 6th through Sunday, May 8th.

The Future Continues to be Driven by Crypto

Cryptocurrency exchanges are banking on sports to open the door to name recognition and new customers. Miami’s basketball team, The Heat, inked a deal with the crypto exchange FTX last year.

The East Coast isn’t the only one to reap the rewards; the Los Angeles Lakers now play in Crypto.com Arena on the West Coast.

Adding the Miami Grand Prix to the list of crypto-backed sports events is on-trend for where the industry is heading.

With enough sunshine to share with the world, Miami is shaking out her beach towel and heading for the race track. Rev your engines and take your starting positions—the race is on!
