Over 80% of US retail sales happen in physical stores. Yet stores are the first to lose resources, training, and investment.

We must invest in the frontline

Kit has spent 25 years inside those stores. She knows what’s broken, who’s being ignored,
and what it actually costs.

She says it out loud — on panels, in articles, and in front of the audiences that need to hear it most.

What She Talks About

Frontline worker intelligence. The real math on turnover and retention.

How smart retailers evaluate and implement technology without leaving their frontline behind.

What people-first leadership looks like on a Saturday at 2 PM.

About Me

I spent 25 years leading teams on the retail floor — at PacSun, Old Navy, Lucky Brand, Anthropologie, and Tilly’s. Store remodels, global turmoil, double-digit comp increases, and daily chaos.

In 2022 I made the hardest decision of my career—to leave it.

Retail pulled me back in a new way.

Now I write and speak about what’s actually happening in stores. The decisions being made without frontline input, the talent being lost, and the leadership gap nobody wants to talk about honestly.

I advocate for the people who make retail stores run, and I say the things most people in this industry won’t.
