The First Crypto Music Label ($GREED)
A visit to the GREED website is an overload for the senses. An electric, faceless logo with a bowler hat, sunglasses, mustache, and bowtie glows against a sleek, black background. Behind it all, GREED is spelled out in neon colors. Green dollar signs flash in sunglass lenses. Scroll down and get a glimpse into the metaverse, the ecosystem, and the music label—a bold quote from the movie Wall Street highlights GREED’s ambitions.
“Greed is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms — greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge — has marked the upward surge of mankind.” – Gordon Gecko
An entire ecosystem is underway that will house the many GREED projects, including a prominent music label run by veteran producers.
Famed music producers Cool and Dre are at the helm. If those names don’t immediately sound familiar, the songs they’ve produced definitely will. The two friends worked with The Game and 50 Cent on “Hate It or Love It,” which peaked on the Billboard charts at number two and held its position for five weeks. It was The Game’s most successful single. It was one of many for Cool and Dre.
Cool and Dre
Grammy- Award-winning producers Marcello “Cool” Valenzano and Andre “Dre” Lyon have been at the forefront of groundbreaking hip hop for two decades.
The two met in a high school chorus class in North Miami, Florida, and dreamed of becoming the next Boys II Men. However, snagging fame for their silky voices wouldn’t pan out. They found themselves broke after moving to Atlanta, Georgia, to work with a manager. They needed another plan. Sampling music is expensive. Without enough money to pay for beats, they began to rethink their future. If they couldn’t buy beats, they’d make them.
They headed back to Miami and went all-in on production.
The Miami Sound
Miami bass is everywhere in Southern Florida, drifting through the thick tropical air from passing cars and open windows. The sound permeates the city and lights up nightclubs after dark. The Miami bass sound greatly influenced Cool and Dre. Their sound has been described as “luxurious and glamorous, but also sticky and sun-kissed.”
As self-professed hip-hop heads and DJs, the two spent endless amounts of time listening to music legends such as KRS-One, Das EFX, and X Clan. DJ Khaled introduced them to Fat Joe, who, upon hearing their work, drove to Miami to meet them. Their sound is innovative and rich. Over their career, the two have worked with record-smashing artists like Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Queen Latifa, Beyonce, Whiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, and more. Their catalog of work is dizzying, but they don’t complicate things.
“We make music for our friends” – Cool.
Their work has sold over 75 million copies worldwide; they credit their success to mutual respect for the other’s creative process. Giving each other space to create is paramount. Cool and Dre’s new endeavor will surely grab the attention of traditional labels and usher in a new fan base, along with a virtual world, digital currency, NFTs, and gameplay. Their partner in this venture, Peter Parente (Captain Awesome), will ensure it.
Captain Awesome
Peter Parente, head of Captain Awesome Consulting, is at the helm of GREED. He is a chief strategist specializing in currency risk, business risk, commodities, and intelligence. Parente is not just any consultant; he’s a force.
“I’m fucking awesome!” his website declares. Clad in tiny American flag shorts, shirtless, and sporting aviator sunglasses, Parente is pictured under an archway of flames; a flame-thrower rests across both hands. His career as a Marine is never too far behind him, and neither are his core values. Parente is loyal and dedicated to honesty, which is missing from many projects.
Cryptocurrency projects are not always transparent. Investors may not know who is involved or where their money is going. This makes risk impossible to assess. However, Parente is doing his best to give GREED investors a well-governed place to put their money. The GREED universe is vast; having Parente in a leadership role is critical for their growth.
The GREED Universe
The GREED Metaverse is being built in TCG World and Decentraland. This futuristic metropolis will include NFT wearables, driveables, and NFT keys. The metaverse play looks brilliant because custom digital wearables for avatars is already a $40 billion market.
GREED is the first crypto ecosystem to combine music, NFTs, the metaverse, and digital collectibles on Binance, Ethereum, Polygon, and Cardano blockchains. They even have their own NFT marketplace. Here, creatives can sell and mint NFTs while owning the contract; what’s more, they can use any marketplace they like, as they are the contract owners. This revolutionary twist will let musicians and artists retain complete control of their work.
“YOUR ART, YOUR CONTRACT” – GREED
The ecosystem has eight unique components, including their native $GREED token, swapping coins, staking coins, and a launchpad to help others create new tokens. GREED’s top-tier NFT will be the G.O.A.T. Owning a GOAT comes with perks. GOATs bring the highest level of access and benefits to the GREED Ecosystem. There will be exclusive GOAT gatherings in the metaverse and the real world for those who own this prestigious NFT.
GREED even has a pet. GREED’s pup, Baby Doge Inu, functions as a HODL token and will be the star of a crypto and NFT-based metaverse game. The tropical-urban metaverse build-out will feature a music studio, club, and concert area – an ideal place for the home of GREED music.
GREED Music
Cool and Dre will run the first music label to launch on Binance and Cardano. The label will feature collectible music NFTs of world-famous artists, including never before seen album cover art. Their first project is a new single, “Magic Hour,” with Fat Joe and Busta Rhymes. The song will be a music NFT featuring an image with different attributes and rarities; 10,000 are up for grabs. The label will host a lottery featuring ten different ultra-rare alternate versions of the song to take the hype to the next level.
Fans can watch live streams of artists at work in the studio with NFT VIP access keys. Impromptu performances and concerts will happen live in the metaverse.
After the initial $GREED token launch, GREED Music will search for the label’s first recording artist. The company has referred to the process as a “crypto-world version of American Idol.” Every step of the search will be live-streamed, keeping fans on edge.
HODL till the Stars
The team behind GREED is flashy and talented. They understand that building a music metaverse involves supporting artists and uplifting the fanbase. Their business model and music metaverse will expand the social consciousness around virtual reality and show fans what’s possible in Web3.
Offering several NFTs, exclusive insider events, contracts, games, and a recording artist competition will keep these executives busy, ensuring they deliver the most thrilling experience for artists and fans alike.
Scroll to the end of their website, and this message appears: “$GREED Token – Forget the moon…HODL Till the Stars.” With a universe like this, the stars are now within reach.
